Incredible…
What a week, sun and surf, amazing weather… painful reminder in a way as to what we missed over the Summer. Didn't realise until later that the belly boarder in the picture is one of my daughters old teachers… small world.

PZ High Tide
Still holding it's shape at High, some nice banks this Summer. Had to get out work to do and arms a noodling…
Sunrise over Lundy
Amazing sunrise this morning, fog on the roads but clear at the coast, perfect 6am surf on Fish Simmons, wish I wasn't so paranoid about smashing it up, amazing combination of speed and agility. Carving turns and easy paddling, doesn't get much better… would surf it every day if it wasn't for the crowds. Like getting out a bottle of vintage port once in a while, really makes you appreciate the finer things in life. Roll on Autumn swells…

Summer peelers
Great week of dawnies last week of July, August seems to have gone flat and wet so far… seems the usual monsoon season has started… fingers crossed for some Hurricane action soon.

PZ Sunshine
May, what happened? Finally Summer is here and with it a few days of sorely missed swell, great to see and surf with some friends…
Just a quick 'get better soon' to John, missing you at the beach sir. As you can see it's been pants ;-)

Photo JoJo
Got myself a Telephoto lens for my iPhone, bit of fun but I'm sure will be the lofi choice of auteur photographers in about 20 years time… this was taken from the cliff at low tide.
You get a lens, tripod and iPhone cover all for $30'ish.
We have had dense fog and bright sun this week, some stormy weather on the way. Tried my 3/2 over the last few days, still too bloody cold, dumped the hood and gloves though, won't be too long till it gets warmer, please?! Get some whilst you can…
Luxury Skip (not a Frye)…
Luxury for sale at PZ… spotted by Mr Surfy. Don't forget to support your local surfer/pancake maker from next week far superior to any other vendors in the locale.

What happened to the fog horns?
A week of fog and sea mist down here, spooky surf on Monday, 4-5ft glassy with 50yd visibility, not clever really and slightly disconcerting to say the least. Still fun though.
New website on track and should be launched in a few weeks, assuming my real day job doesn't get in the way, should be good, easier to use and bit more informative. That's the plan…
Should have mentioned this ages ago but we are happy, ney proud to help along a few great loggers down here with a few bits of finnage, big thanks to James, Matt and Josh, good luck this year with everything… you can follow their progress on their blogs, see the links bar >>

Spring sprung?
Finally starting to see some signs things are warming up around here, daffodils in the hedgerows maybe a hoodless surfer and a bit of sunshine. Seems to have been cold forever.
Had a perfect two days of surf, some overhead action on my fish simmons which was a revelation. Not been used to such speed having been on a log pretty much all Winter, wave faces were a blurrrrr.
New fins on the way from around the world and a new website design in the pipeline.

Week of the 17th Jan
Well that was a week to remember, best one so far in 2011, mind you that is not saying too much now. After the big weekend things settled down with some clean conditions throughout the week. Managed to get in on all but two days.
Sale has now finished… seems money is a bit tight out there, Loose Fit seem to be scaling back their operations a sign of the times? Hope not…
Keep calm… Slide on!

Big thaw…
Nice to get in so often over Christmas, hope you all managed to get some.
Sale starts on 4th January with 20% off everything, all the usual stock, no exceptions. Might even do free shipping if I can figure out how to apply that in the shopping cart, failing that a free bar of wax might be a better idea. Anyway bargains to be had and no vat increase at all in 2011. Got a feeling it going to be a tough old year so I think we all need a helping hand.

A Tuesday in November…
The 9th to be precise, kind of looks surfable maybe? Must have been blowing 30 knots, hard even to stand and take a picture. Next day was nearly still and a good'ish day for a surf, well not been in for so long it was bloody brilliant, good craic too. Looks pretty poor for the week ahead, at least I'll be free for a bit of F1 finalĂ©. Lewis Hamilton is 100-1 against at the minute, might be worth a punt…
A few new fins on the site this week, some Greenough's, including the Burl ones, a couple of Farberow and some new Norm's… and for those who are waiting the Nine Plus are on there way, promise.

It's officially cold…
Just for the record, boots were worn for the first time on 30th October, winter suit is out of mothballs and ready for action. For some reason I'm not looking forward to the cold even more this year, maybe it's the fourth terrible Summer in a row, anyway can't put off the inevitable, stiff upper lip and all that.
Pretty great waves for Halloween, but now looks pretty poor the the week or so ahead.

Half term hoardes
Seems to get busier and busier during half term in October, nearly as crowded as August bank holiday, in the water at least. Great to see so many people having fun in the water, no really it is.
October wave count has been disappointing so far, makes September seem epic. Let's hope we have some more fun ones soon.

Autumn
We have been having some amazing weather this week, almost better than the so called Summer, mind you that wouldn't be that difficult would it. A great weekend of surf was had and looks like a pulse of swell Thursday followed by a big nothing… oh well.
Don't forget 15% off everything this month, just type 'swell' into the coupon box at checkout, and yes I am seeing the irony of choosing that code.
Still amazed at the quality of the iPhone images having looked back at the Satio ones, who needs a P&S?, okay so not much cop when you use the zoom but as a walk around it's pretty perfect, just wish old Jobs'worth would unlock the ability to send files via Bluetooth.

This is the kind of view…
I like when I'm arriving at the beach, admittedly I took this as I was leaving but you get the idea. Why was I leaving? Too tired to lift a tea cup after 6 hours logging in a day…
