Seems the weather has returned to the usual chilly and grey we are used to.

The latter half of March has been spectacular here in Cornwall.
Amazing weather coupled with lovely waves…
Surfed pretty much every day on everything from thigh glass to overhead reeling thumpers, classic.

One of those days the image looked better than reality, still a few nice ones although tide was a bit too full. Stoked to surf with good pals Dom and Gary. Only one other out which was odd.

Swell was dropping off but some nice small glassy peelers.
Still quiet, almost started thinking of a Summer suit when I saw a girl on the inside in a shortie, madness!

Most of the Shire was bathed in Spring sunshine but the beach was foggy and cold.
There was a thigh high glassy wave though, super fun quiet three hour surf.
Porpoise swimming amongst the quiet line up which was magical.
Stark contrast to Saturday which was bigger and a swirling maelstrom of Spring tide nastiness.
More tomorrow hopefully.

South Coast was peeling but no board with me… daughter refused to sit in the car for two hours waiting, bloody inconsiderate if you ask me. ;)
Still cold in that offshore though.
