Can't even remember when I last surfed waves of this size it's been so crap for so long…

Solid 4ft, maybe even head high on some of the bigger sets… bit rusty but great fun.

Hopefully more tomorrow, sure to have faded a bit, don't even care the rest of the country seem to be basking in a heatwave and it's grey here…

Spent 3 hours paddling from one 1ft peak to another… good for the old shoulders I guess.

Managed to sneak away from my desk after 16 days straight without a break and mostly 12 hour days.

Wasn't really expecting much from the short period wind swell but had an absolute blast with only me and another guy out. Mr Surfy joined us later and was one of the best surfs I'd had in weeks, even in the crumble.

Just as well as it's been flat or stormy since.
