Brrrr… thought we had had the last of the cold… apparently not, frigid!

Icy Lefts…

Some icy lefts today, bitterly cold, -8 earlier but not much wind thankfully. Good to get in though, lots of Pilchards (Anchovies) running the coast still, keeping the Gulls and Gannets fed, good to see…

Might have spoken too soon on the wave front, seems to have gone flat… pfft

Super low tide revealed all of the reefs at Seaton on Sunday and a few micro peelers looking lush for Action Man sized surfers. Time to plan for Spring!

And here's hoping for some more swell…

Week of the 17th Jan

Well that was a week to remember, best one so far in 2011, mind you that is not saying too much now. After the big weekend things settled down with some clean conditions throughout the week. Managed to get in on all but two days.

Sale has now finished… seems money is a bit tight out there, Loose Fit seem to be scaling back their operations a sign of the times? Hope not…

Should be on for another week so get on it… sorry no pics for a while but weather has been so crappy not been out with a camera. Been thinking of boards and Summer waves… nice to dream, mind you it's going to get colder before it gets warmer I recon.

Off to the smoke next week to pick up my birthday present from last year, bit of a Pete Fowler artfest, can't wait! Pics to follow.
